what's your favorite fishing hole?

i have two; can't decide between them. one is bear paw lake, south of havre, montana. the other is fort peck reservoir, on the missouri river in northeastern montana.

I used to make a trek now and then to Chibougamou in northern Quebec, best native fishing I've ever seen. Canada has gotten so weird about firearms now that I've quit going. I always carry a weapon and I don't think spending 2 or 3 hours at their customs stations is a whole lot of fun.

The Au Sable River in upstate New York is one of my favorites for brook trout. Lake Sidney Lanier in Georgia is a pretty decent fishing hole, but is getting overcrowded.
