If winter is Jan and beyond I'm with Bigpapa,
Yotes, love seeing that "oh shit" look on their face when they realize the free meal they was about to get is gonna get them. I've just about decided to try yote hunting with a vengence this year. They're killin the turkey's I hunt, went scoutin two week's ago and found 3 kills - they should of left well enough alone last year. Now it's fer real.
Coyotes for me. Special seasons for deer and elk stretch through February, so we actually have a five month big game season here, seven counting bowhunting and back country wilderness areas.

I'll hunt for anything that gets me out of the house. Usually rabbits but the rabbit populations has gone to shit for several years. Would like to take up predator hunting, coyotes in particular. Need to get one of the predator caller machines though. Hmm, maybe that needs to go on Santa's List this year!!
