Fella's;

I bought a new, to me, pick-up truck.  It's a 2007 Chevy 3/4 ton 4WD, Duramax/Allison.  Extended cab with both accessory doors and the long box.  The bed has a spray-in liner and came with a sawbox too.  The mileage was 86,350 and the price was right around 25K.

The bed has the holes in it where the goose connection was & that's OK.  As eventually I've been told that we will have horses, that means a horse trailer, which means - - - - - a goose-neck hitch of course.  Let's see there's also the accessory steps, not running boards, which I like better 'cause they're better for hunting.  It also has the window eyebrows so you can crack 'em & the rain won't come in either.  Cloth interior, power seats, CD, dual air and all that.  The color is a dark blue/gray.

I'm taking it in tomorrow to get the codes checked, and that's money well spent.  It'll need tires in a few thou, but ya can't have everything.

Now then, anybody interested in a 92 Ford 4WD with 58,000 miles?

Sounds like a good one. I have heard good things about the Duramax. Back in the day, I was  Detroit Diesel mechanic. That means I delt with alot of Allisons. I don't think their is a better transmission out there.

I hope you like it cause I think it will last you a long time.

Good, congratulations.  Make sure they check when the Codes were reset; else they will just come back on after you bought it and drove it about 150 miles.

Sure, getting rid of the Blue Ford!!!!!

couldn't part with that Brown truck?  an old friend.

Heh!  His ole brown GMC has a long bed, much better for ranch work.   Also, it's an '88 with about 185K miles & nobody will give it  a second look let alone write a check for it.  Includin' me.

It has lasted a long time, shows you the stuff it is made of.  Might have to shoot it.  Also that brown doesn't show all the dirt and mud!!!

Foo, do you think that the CB guy will take that new princess Blue into the gopher fields?  Wouldn't want to get it dirty!!
