There are in Ft. Peck Reservoir and the Missouri River. Maybe other places for all I know. There are northern pike here in my part of the state.

kingpin -

most waters in the central and eastern part of the state have them, and they can grow to be a pretty respectable size. walleye is considered just about the best-tasting of the freshwater fish. some will disagree, of course, but it cannot be denied that walleye is DANG GOOD!!

I know Tash, to me, they are the tastiest by far, I just never thought much about them being west of the Big Muddy. When I visit, I may just drag along the "Ugly Stick," even though I am a little rusty with it................Kingpin

Walleye were illegally intoduced into Canyon Ferry some years ago. Fish and game seemed to think it was a bad thing as they tried to get rid of them at first. They're also in Holter Lake and parts of the Misouri River.
