I'm packin' all legal now, an' I ain't so happy about the way my gun fits in my holster. Does anyone make a good concealeable holster for a 1911 with a 4" barrel? I've been all through this innernet and it looks like most are either 5" or 3". Any good holster elves out there?

milt sparks makes a good holster. galco makes a decent holster, at a good price, and readily available so there's no wait... |

Concealable and a 4" 1911 are not exactly possible. A shoulder holster that fits the handle completely inside the arm is about the only concealable place for a large pistol. I had one but gave it away as while it was concealable it was so dam uncomfortable for me that I would not wear it a full day. a friend worked as an undercover guy on homicide; he carried a 1911 4" in the small of his back (inside the pants). He never complained, but was 6'3" and weighted 240#. But his carry was 'not' real concealed enough. He was an easy make from the back. He thought my M39 S&W was a toy. Different strokes for different folks. BEAR |

Mule; Another vote for Milt Sparks. And they are located in Boise, if you're still in Idaho. As far as non-concealment leather goes, another excellent company is the Idaho Leather Works, also in Boise. Foobulus Edited by Igbo Foo |
