Well all my yapping about loads, shooting pattern boards/targets,comes to a head very soon. Hunting season starts Thursday. I've been loading for years but this year particularly I've loaded a LOT of experimental stuff and it's time to do some real time testing. Friday I'm going to try my XXL dove loads ( 1 3/8 oz 1400 fps #8 lead 2 3/4 ). Then we do a annual Labor Day sage hen hunt out east and I'm going to use my duplex #5/#7 1/2 - 1 3/8 oz loads . I hope to work the crap out of the 870 but our bird populations took a devastating hit this winter and spring, I'm thinking I'm going to get more exercise then birds...
Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box
