Hey guys, just got my T/C Scout manual today in the mail. My dad called them Tuesday and used my name and it just came even though they are a 1 hr. 30 minute drive away.
I found out that with a 470 grain maxi-hunter i can get my muzz energy up to 2093 ft/lbs with 100 gr. bp. I will probably shoot pyro until i can get some black powder, because my dad had a container lying around for some reason even though he doesnt have a muzzleloader and doesnt reload
. I found out the firing mechanism is three parts!! It is the trigger, the spring for the trigger, and the hammer. It has a step by step take down thingy, but it is too late for that, i have already learned how the hard way
. At least i know the most accurate hunting load for it is a Maxi-Hunter being pushed by 80-90 grains of bp produce fairly decent velocities and energies considering the gun has a 20.5" barrel!
