Smith & Wesson dropped this thing a couple weeks back.  The content creators on Youtube had access to it a little before that so I'd been watching them give it their positive reviews with excitement.  Always interested in adding another 10mm to the safe, I went shopping once I saw it was on GunBroker.  Price was right ... $699.99 pretty much across the board but all having some combination of shipping and credit card use fees so I was just taking my time watching and waiting for a no shipping charge, no cc fee offer that would eventually come.

Yesterday, I walked into a local shop and there she was in all her glory.  LOL.  They'd actually gotten two in the day before and were surprised they were still on the shelf.  Good for me ... saved on all the GunBroker fee's.  Clap

I came with two 15 round magazines and 4 grip inserts to fit to your liking.  They call it a 5.6" barrel but the rifling stops at about the 5" mark.  It is ported.  I've never shot a ported 10mm or felt it was necessary but the reviews say it functions wonderfully so we'll see.  Slide release and thumb safety are ambi.  Striker fired (sorry Bear).  Front and rear True Glow optics height Tritium night sights to co-witness with an optic, of which it is cut for and comes with 6-7 plates to fit many optics options.  They call it a flat trigger with the little safety do-hick that needs to be depressed to fire but it looks like it's a curved trigger to my eye and feel so maybe our definition of "straight trigger" are different.  It does come with the improved Performance Center tuning.  There is some travel to the wall that feels a little gritty, nothing crazy, but once at the wall, it's breaks clean and fairly light.  Measures 4.2-4.7 lbs on my Lyman.  It feels nice but I haven't shot it yet.  We'll get to that shortly.

Anyway, 10mm number 8 is the safe.     k
