This is my only magnum,a 7mm Rem Mag, and no others planned. Our grandson is graduating from Florida State this year. He doesn't know it yet, but it will soon be his. I have a different scope in mind. I got two muleys with it in 1973 in MT. It sports a 26 inch Shilen Match bbl w/a light varmint contour. This is a real shooter. A little heavy, but being a son of a green beret general, I'm sure he won't complain(at least to his dad).

We have, but only two magnums. One is a Ruger Express Rifle in .300 Win Mag, owned by my father. The other is a Ruger 96/44, and yes you do have to call the .44 Mag a mag. That rifle i am borrowing from someone at the moment, and will be returned shortly. I may eventually buy a Ruger m77k2 lefty in 7mm Magnum eventually, but that will not be for a while, as i have no need for a magnum rifle at the moment.
