SD pheasant hunting

   Dang, 
     One of the "fellers" I use to hunt with invited me to hunt pheasant on a presever in SD.  They want $800 buck a day to shoot 3 pheasant!!!!  - Crazy buggers, like i'm gonna drive 16 hrs to shoot 3 birds and pay 800!  
    We got an outfit here that will let you shoot 6 fer $100, and you can buy as many as you want.  If anyway want's to do that let me know and I'll set up the hunt, we'll use my dog and have breakfast before we go.  Crazy buggers.

	every day, i find another reason to thank god that i live in montana! six pheasants for 100$? payng anything (other than what the law requires!) to hunt anything is so foreign to me as to seem unreal. we really do have it lucky here~~

	Tas, KS has birds but the populations are way down, we drive 6 hours to get to Goodland KS from here and if there ain't no birds we don't go. So a 12 hour trip costs over $100 worth of gas, not to mention food, beer, and other junk. When it happens I end up payin to keep the dog on course. Other than that I wouldn't go. The guy's I mentioned earlier were executives with way too much money. I'm just a poor tech grunt that keeps the company runnin. That is at least until they beat the readneck out of me. They want to "groom" me now - sounds alot like gettin your balls clipped. Spot
