saw a gopher today

The city is out of room to dump snow from the streets, can't just dump it in the river you know.They rent a large chunk of grass land, cant use a park either.
Scrape off the overburden of snow then dump it there till it melts and the recover the gravel for next year.
ANYWAY!
 where the clear off the snow the gophers will come out on the sunny days . When they cover it with hard packed snow the gopher seam to disappear , the next spring there will be few gophers, I think they drown when it melts and cant get out of the mountains of snow over them. 
But we gota get the snow out of the way and I canr shoot the gophers in town anyway.
