Dang we picked up another one. This time it's a savage Axis small shank in 22/250 ,24"barrel. It's not an accutrigger I guess that means it Gen 1. It looks like it has never been shot no scope ring marks clean as a whistle, $200 bucks. The plan on this one is a 25 creedmoor pre fit and a 20" barrel fast twist.   I have yet pulled the trigger on the 358 win barrel for my last "pick up" savage. But I did find a pre fit at Excalibur barrels here in MT with a 1x12 twist.  ------------- Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box |

I like the idea of pre fit barrels. That's a good price. ------------- I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on. |
