OK we are still waiting on the draw for antelope. BUT the swan and crane draw was held and posted. All of us got a swan tag and the D-I-L got a crane tag. I would prefer the crane but a swan tag is just as hard to draw, and fun too.  ------------- Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box |

OK think about the largest nasties goose that has been living off a sewage lagoon all it life and then make it three times bigger, Now you have a slight thought of how they taste. If you smoke them you can gag them down. We add them to duck, goose, and sage hens all ground up and make what we call duck jerky. You can eat it but not a lot at one time. BUT there great fun to hunt and shoot. Congratulations D. Hopefully you all get antelope tags. Is it "wanten waste" if you don't eat them? ------------- I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on. |

Everyone around home would go on and on about how many Canadian geese were around, I told them it's easy to figure, if they were at all edible the population would get thinned down! I have never hunted waterfowl, manly because, with the exception of a few duck species, they are terrible table fare! |

I really prefer to eat whatever I kill but theirs some animals that weren't meant to be eaten. They are still fun to shoot though. ------------- I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on. |
