I have an older Leupold 600 range finder that is lucky to pick up a range out to 400 yards. I'm thinking about upgrading to something that will reach out a little farther.

I've been looking at the Sig Sauer 1000 or 1600 without all the high tech blue tooth stuff.

Have any of you used one of these or know anything about them? The prices seem to be reasonable and reviews are pretty good.

What do you use?

I think this is the one the boy has Leica CRF 2400.
He can use it on geese in the air and see a moving range.

d what make and model????

Wing, I have two, my original is the same one you have, good on deer/antelope out to 400+ yards.  That is all I need. most big game is in that range.   I got a second one that is rated900 yards, too many functions, so it takes to long when you see a speed goat at 300 yaards or so.  By the time you remember how to click thru angle, rain moed, etc  'lope is long gone.  The Bush 600 is quick.

That looks like a really good rangefinder.

I really haven't looked at Leica because I assumed they were way out of my price range. This one isn't cheap but it's not even close to what I expected.

Thanks D.
