Seems this latest Trump riot will, somehow) prolong the shortage of components.  ugh

Certainly we will see a firearms ban in the first year; and that will make all guns disappear of the shelves as soon as put out!  And seems that is somewhat responsible for shortages.  And now, everyone will be stockpiling (aka hoarding).

Think I'll start buying 100 unit boxes of flytying hooks....got to something outdoors in the future.

Bear,
Yes, it seems like everything hunting, shooting, and reloading is on back order.  As for me, I received a back order from Brownell's yesterday, and am still waiting for back order items from Sport Optics,  Midway, and Creedmoor Sports.  I think we are just starting to see the shortages. Items that one would think should not be in short supply like a 6.5 PRC case gauge and bore cleaning guide are even back ordered.  Many items are out of stock and not available for back order.
Things will only get worse.

I'm not sure what the run on the capital had to do with it. I haven't seen primers in months and very little powder. It pretty much started with the china virus.

The "shortage" is not just shooting stuff. We waited 4 weeks for a new gas range for our kitchen this past summer. Freezers, fridges, primers, ammo, toilet paper, building material you name it you had to wait for nearly anything. Say nothing about the USPS...waited 26 days for a SFRB coming from ID last month. When the gov't allows "workers" to stay home and make extra money on unemployment manufacturers can't produce their products. Then add warehouse workers and truck drivers and 'voila welcome to socialism. Wait in line for common, everyday products

We too can't find a new kitchen range. All appliance stores around here have ample floor space but not much product. Same can be said for reloading supplies too & firearm racks pretty bare too.
