I found my Stryker stove to be perfect for a small camp (suburban camping).  If boils fast, inclubes a pot and all packs into a small bag.  also has a built in igniter.  tough to think of how it could be improved.

No skillet?!?!?

That is a sweet little setup. How long do you get out of a fuel tank for it? I have never used those kinds of tanks before, are they refillable? Storage restrictions? Price is pretty reasonable.

We use a jetboil same kinda thing, yours is cheaper.
Tank life??? It is the boys, but we did a midwinter coyote hunt two years ago and used it for 3 days and did not change the tank.

It is a knock off design of the Jet boil, some differences.

My first time with this fuel, canisters.  there are two sizes   100 and 220g.

I have a 220 on it.  Makes it slightly taller, but it is my first tank...maybe try the 100 next time.  non-refillable.  But lights in 25oF temps.

I've had this tank for 2 years, 14 coffee/breakfasts, 12 quick dinners.  But I cook and move fast, only cooking for one little old guy (diebetic) that doesn't eat a lot rice/couscous/tuna/hot dogs/etc.  Still seems to have a lot of fuel left in that container!

Specially made for old guys...no digital stuff, just on valve and push-button!   And it hisses loud so we can hear it even with our hearing aids on low.

well after q few years, my first benzene/mix canister of fuel ran out.  I figure about 3 hours on a tank on medium.  On low it would probably do 5 hours.

Just recycled old canister and put new one on.  I was carrying a spare 250  canister, but now that I know that they last so long i'll not carry a spare..
