Just got a Natchez flier on NightForce Scopes. I've never owned one nor even looked thru one. Are they worth the extra money? ?????????? Can't tell you from experience. None of my close friends have one either. BUT I have seen a few out. I have never herd any one say Dam I wish I had not got that Nightforce scope. Nightforce is big glass for those into the VLD stuff. Monsterous turret knobs, bells, whistles, air raid sirens and boat ore locks. Innards are bullet proof. Glass itself focal quality wise is on par with all the big glass out there. If you want the best in precision adjustments, they are top shelf. Stretched an eyeball through a few over the past decade. Local church fellow has one on his 50 as well. Good kit for sure....not so much on the 50. ------------- ...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt! |

I seriously thought about putting a Nightforce on my Swede. I looked through a couple and they were very impressive. I just couldn't spend that much money on a scope. I ended up getting a Leupold VX3I LRP. I'm sure its not even close to a Nightforce but I was able to erite the check and still be able to sleep at night. Wing master ------------- I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on. |

| From what I've seen they are for the tactical crew. Lots of dots, dashes, knobs, lines...stuff I don't need or want. I have found Meoptas are high quality, they made the Zeiss Conquest and the "Euro" line for Cabelas. Top quality glass that is very affordable. |
