Fella's; I've had my SIG 1911-22 for almost two years now & am quite happy with the gun. I'd always intended to get some extra magazines for it, but the price of them always shied me off. I could always think of someplace better for the money to go. At approximately $45.00 a copy the value/price ratio wasn't working for me. And a lot of other people too it seems. So, this morning I got an e-mail from SIG with their .22 magazine offer of either four moisquito or 1911-22 mags for under a C-note, with a fifth one thrown in "free". I burned up the phone line on that one! I'm personally sure that all the $45.00 a copy magazines they had taking up room in the warehouse might have had something to do with the offer, no? 900F ------------- Birth certificate!? He don't need no steenkink birth certificate!! |

And to think, a few months ago you couldn't find magazines or reloading components for much of anything. Now it's on clearance. Wing master ------------- I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on. |

Fella's; Well, I'm not just exactly sure that SIG's lead into the offer wasn't a bit of deception. There were the words "free" and "magazine" in there, I know that for sure. But I didn't get 5 for my $99.80, I got four. Still, at $24.95 each with S&H included I can't biche too loud. One mag came with the gun, so now I've got five. Put one in the case with one in the pistol & three spares in the locker. Good to go! 900F ------------- Birth certificate!? He don't need no steenkink birth certificate!! |
