Hunted in the black-fellow owned Arnhemland with concession holder Paul Truccolo. Took two good bulls in six days, then travelled up to Bremer Island off Nhulunbuy and fished with Trevor Hosie, taking numerous species of game fish.

  Paul's concession had many buffalo, wild horses, dingos, and bird species.  Although there were crocs in the billabongs, I did not see any, or any snakes.

Sgraves;

Wow!  I'm sure your feeding more than a few "I wanna go too's" on the board's membership.  Looks like it was a very worthwhile trip.  Just where in greater Africa are these places anyhow?  I'm sure wantin' warmer climes at the moment myself.  What was your heavy rifle?

900F,

  This was in the Northern Territory of Australia, between Kakadu National Park and the Gulf of Carpentaria.  Everybody speaks English, the laws are like ours, and no dangers of armed poachers with AK47s.

  I borrowed Paul's 375H&H Remington for the buff.  He had a 458Lott.

One does have to get a Police Permit to use a rifle several months in advance of hunting.

One can take commercial air to Gove (Nhulunbuy) and then missionary airlines (MAF) to Numblwarr, the mission town that is closest to Paul's camp.

Paul's web-site is http://www.southernsafaris.com.au/en_safaris/en_safaris.html - http://www.southernsafaris.com.au/en_safaris/en_safaris.html

and Trevor's is
