Finding myself somewhat overrun by coyotes this year I decided to try a new, original idea to thin their numbers. I began to bait them with a mixture of Alpo, Gravy Train, and Purina Dog Chow.Of course I didn't want to shoot them during deer season, and so put out plenty of bait during November and December, hoping to begin to pile them up now in January. They probably consumed over 300 lbs of various dog foods. Now, when I drive by my farm they chase the car, barking all the way. I can't drive, work the clutch, and shoot at the same time. What should I do??

Max,

Why you got to kill them, hell you been fatt'n them up so they don't have to eat nothing you don't want them too.

I'd just see if you can get them to jump in the truck, take'm home and keep them in the garage.

Try smear'n alpo all over yer car and they'll follow ya home.

Or if you really want to do them in, hit the brakes and let them run into the truck and knock themselves loopy.  Then get out and stomp on 'em.  That sounds like a hell of a sport.

I'll send down my elk rig. Spot can drive and you man the main gun. If you find yourself in a overcrowded, blackpowder only area, I'll send you down the BP Gattlin gun soon as Rollingb gives me permission to use his patented drawings to work from.

Looks like no one took your post serious. I was wondering if you had any luck with the dogs or not?

Max,

Get an automatic transmission on the truck.  You can steer with your knee, 45 auto in one hand and your beer can in the other.
