Folks, I have a Sig Mosquito on layaway and am getting close to the end.  I am sorta getting second thoughts.  I've just heard that they are of questionable quality...such as they jam and are very ammo sensitive. Any truth to that?

I have no personal experience with one myself.  But I've heard the same thing.  I'll suggest going over to Rimfire Central & ask there.

Have not shot one, but heard bad things about them on other forums. Hope you have good luck with yours.

Walther makes a great little P22 my buddy and his wife both have them and I have shot the crap out of them with no jams or missfires. seems they eat all kinds of ammo with out any problems. Might want to change your choice before it's to late. The P22 walther is a great little peice.

Stinky;

And I'll second the little Walther.  A friend got one & several of us spent an afternoon dinkin' around with both it & a pair of Beretta NEOS, .22's.  All three guns behaved as they should.  So if the Walther doesn't appeal, you might want to take a look at the NEOS.  I'll say one thing, it don't get any easier to take a .22 pistol apart for cleaning than the NEOS.  Also, CDNN will sell you spare NEOS mags for $10.00 each.  And that's dirt cheap these days.

I have heard the same about them, but then again, a lot of .22 auto pistols have likes and dislikes for certain ammo (unspecified as it is a variety) I plan to buy a Mosquito though, and I have a lot of different .22 ammo to try............Kingpin
