The dies will be manufactured soon I hope.
I have yet ordered the barrel but probably next week, it's a 10/12 week wait. the dies are 8 weeks out they say. I found some Go/no go gauges to by them it about $120 shipped and 8/10 week. BUT I can rent them for about $35 to me and back to them. I'm going to go that way but wait till I get the barrel, it is only a 3 day rent window. Wrench and nut next. I'm interested to see how this project works out. If it's relitivly easy to do the oportunities could be almost endless.
Savage rifles were inexpensive but that's not so much the case now.

I don't know yet I have not taken off the factory barrel yet, I may have to use it before it gets here.
BUT I'm not sure but I don't think Ruger AM use a recoil lug there is some kind of V block mounting system in the stock.

I just got word my AI dies are finished. They should be shipped out any day now.
Still waiting for word on the barrel. SLOWLY the worm turns.

Redding is the only place that custom make them as far as I know.
I ordered through Graff's and sons they where $10 cheaper and less shipping too. Rather than from Redding them selves.
