As morning dawned a fellow that had gone to Las Vegas awoke in a strange motel room. It was much fancier than the one he remembered checking into the afternoon before. His head was pounding and he vaguely remembered hitting a once in a lifetime pot at the Black Jack table the night before. As he surveyed his surroundings he was starteled to see that he was not alone. Softly snoring in the bed beside him was the homeliest woman he'd ever seen in his life. As the reality of the situation sunk in he wasn't quite sure what to do. He quietly got dressed. Checking his wallet he found a wad of cash still inside. Not yet clear about exactly how he ended up with this woman, and not really wanting to wake her, he left $200 on the dresser and quietly walked around the end of the bed to leave. He felt a tug on his pants cuff and looked down to see a woman, even homelier than the one in bed, laying on the floor. Looking up with pleading eyes she croaked, "Nothing for the bridesmaid?"

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
