Fella's I picked up my game tags today.

KS changed from Paper tag's to a computer based system, and let me tell ya folks it's a peach!

I took me almost a half hour for them to get the thing processed, not fun at all.  I can't image what's going to happen the day before season when the bulk of people show up.

A friendly suggestion..... Get you tag's NOW, and buy them all at once.  What a pain in the butt.

We went to computer generated licenses in Texas some years back, don't remember exactly when. Took a couple of years to work out the bugs, but is faster now. First computer licenses were like a long cash register tag, with different tags scattered thruout the length. Huge pain in the ass to find and tear the proper tags...then you had your license in pieces because of the torn off tags. Now the license looks similar to the old system, but is still a computer generated document. Drawback to the system is some fairly sophisticated equipment is needed to be connected with TPW, and many mom and pop operations can't or won't spend the money to be part of it. Good side is you walk into a store, give your TDL, and they can run a license in a couple of minutes. Takes longer to do a mandatory migrant bird bag survey that to get a basic license.
