Kaspa is the low end of Weaver Scopes. Natchez has them on super sale. (1x for $49).
For the last 8 years I've been buying the new Weaver scope line. they are very good; but I wonder about Kaspa????? thoughts. Edited by BEAR - 24 August 2020 at 10:29 |

I never had any weaver scopes.
I have had a lot of cheep Bushnell's. They all seem to work fine " For the $$$$$" When they fail just throw them away and get a new one. If I'm on a hunt of a lift time I think I would spring for as good as I could afford. P dogging, coyotes and deer are a dime a dozen. Would not bother me in the slightest to use them for that. I use all Redfield, and one Burris all good"For the $$$" |

Don't know about the Kaspas but in '60's-70's I had all Weaver scopes.
That means 3 total. The K series in 3X & V7 & 10X. Good for the times. Do have a 4X (New) Weaver (foreign) but seems to be pretty good. |

I've never had a Kaspa but if Redfield is Leupold's lower end I have heard nothing but good about them.
Maybe Kaspa is as good as Weaver? It seems like for the price it would be worth getting one and trying it out. Wing master

Might try than Wing.
My first scope was a Weaver K-10 for groundhogs. All Steel. Early Weaver Scopes (el Paso TX) were great in the day. After 30 years they sold the name and thn they were total junk (like Tasco). But about 10 years ago they changed again; now seem pretty good.

Weaver name is owned by VISTA OUTDOORS so no telling who actually manufactures the product. Entire line of Weaver Scopes and Optics. Check prices! I still have a Weaver B-4 scope (4X), on a shelf now. It is a .22lr scope with either a 3/4" or 7/8" dia body and has tip off base which fits in grooves on receiver of rifle. Had since I was 15yrs old and back then it was a BIG deal to scope a rifle of any kind. I still have a K-10 Weaver with the objective ring for parallax, used it on a Ruger No 1 22-250 for years. Scope From early 1970's or before even. Also, have an ancient K-3 with the Post & Cross-hair reticle. These are all the El Paso Weavers.

I have 2 Grand Slams 4-16x, both on my MYGADWS rifles, 222 rem Tika and 22 lrCZ FS. they are fine. while the list price is high. that is done to imply 'high quality', just a marketing ploy. they are heavily discounted. I bought both of mine at natchez 'on super sale'.
