NH;

I agree that the Wingmaster seems pretty high to me.  Especially when there are some 20 guage Browning BPS’s available NIB for less.  There is  a 26” barreled one, that although they don’t state NIB they imply it, that is at $436.00.  A micro BPS 22” barrel that does say NIB is showing at $419.00.  You may very well like the 22” barrel better.  The barrels are easy to switch.

what about doubles?

for all my shotgunning, except geese, i prefer 2-pipers anymore. i used to be enamored w/ pumps, but i'll just take doubles nowadays... never did warm up to autos, rifle or shotgun.

Hunting is not a matter of life or death; it is much more important than that.

I might just still buy that Stoeger Coach gun. It comes in 20 guage and is 2 3/4" and 3" capable. It has 20 inch tubes and is choked modified cylinder and improved cylinder. This a little side by side double and handles nicely. It is also cheaper.

I've got a couple of Stoeger Uplander's, 12 & 20, great guns. Made one mistake - got fixed chokes instead of screw-ins.

Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, sixty rounds powder and ball, and be ready to march at a minute's warning.
