The .327 Federal Magnum chambering can provide nearly .357 magnum performance with 2 lbs less felt recoil which makes it an excellent personal defense, concealed carry, revolver.

Tell us more, five shot or six, weight, size? It looks to be same size as a two finger 38 snubbie, is it narrower? Is it a new frame size or just new chambering? same size as M 731 or M 85? Here's what I could find.

i have entertained this little round, too. taurus running $350 - $450 and the s&w $850 - $1200. i guess if they both reliably go bang and are consistently personal-defense accurate, you're paying the dif for an 8-rd. cylinder on the smith, opposed to the 6-rd. on the taurus. only concern is it just looks so small, i'm not sure how it'd fit in my hands.?.?.?.?.?.? that said, the more i look, the more i'm interested ... in the taurus. Looks interesting but personally, when I actually carried a wheelgun, never felt "undergunned" with a S&W .38 Special stoked with +P ammo...

The thing that I like about the .327 (other than it was a great Chevy motor)
is the fact that you can shoot so many different types of ammo,.32 S&W,S&W long,.32 H&R mag a favorite of mine and the .327. Less expensive ammo means more range time and we all know that means being a better shot and being more comfortable with the gun.
