earlier this week, i was doing some research trying to find the company that distributed the maple wood chips that i used to get for smoking, and i came across this deal, which looks very interesting:

http://www.lenthompson.com/msg11.htm

i contacted the company and they sent me some more information on a .pdf file, which i've uploaded here:

2008-06-11_122914_customlure2008.pdf

basically, we can have the website and a logo put on a fishing lure. i've done a little looking into this and it seems like a good idea to me. if we get the most common size (which also happens to be an all-around good size for actually catching fish), the prices seem to be reasonable, as well.

the main website for the company that provides these is www.lenthompson.com. they seem to be the equivalent of luhr-jensen here in the united states.

what i need to know is if anyone is interested in this. if we can get enough for an order, i think it would be neat to have. looks like a person could get them as gifts or to hand out to friends or hell, even to catch fish with. we can design our own color scheme and what we want on the lure. considering the complex nature of the current BSB logo, we can even design a new, simplfied or stylized one which could become our "official" BSB logo.

if anyone is interested in this, let me know by replying to this thread. we'd need enough people who could bring enough money to the table to make an order. my thinking is that we could then offer any leftover lures here on BSB for a cost that is reasonable and could also probably cover what we put in in the first place.

pros? cons? ideas? suggestions? cool idea? stupid idea?

let me know.

You can try this man. He just made Decals for Texas Crappie.com. I have five of them and they look very good. He charged us less then 3.00 each shipped. Actually he charged 12.00 for the five shipped to me. This is his e-mail jason@personalpokerchips.com

No, he did not have a minimun order. He took the orders then printed them. I was real pleased with his work. He has printed several different state decals and I have not heard any complaints.

Default Order your Texas State Decals Here!!!!

OK, It's a Go..

First Orders will be taken today. I have the OK and the artwork.
I will take orders through the 7th of November... Decals will be shipped on the or close to the 12th... Reason I cant ship as the orders come in is because I would like to get an idea of how many to print and would like to do it all in 1 run with extras for later purchases.

$2.50 per Decal.. The decals will be 6.25" x 6" Will be printed Full Color Digitally and then UV coated by screen print equipment.

2 payment options:

Paypal to jason@personalpokerchips.com
