I'm tired of fiddling.  My Gold Cup has a crappy Champion rear sight that won't stay on the gun.  The hinge pin keeps slipping out.  I tried lock tight, considered some JB Weld (briefly).  Putting a head on both ends of the pin would work, but I'm afraid of boogering something up.  There's not much room for error.  Haven't seen a replacement that will fit.  Is there possibly a better pin out there?  Another sight that uses the same fastening configuration?  Gun shoots good when the sight stays in one place (and when I don't use the sights).

I want straight black sights for this piece, if I can help it.  You know of any other after-market sights that will fit this goofy mounting system?

I went to fixed sights on my social pistols. I had the same problems with screws and such leaving the firearm sights when being shot. Less, is more.

If memory serves me Mule, the sights are Elliason sights. I haven't checked the extra slide I have for sights, but I will tonight. If I have them I'll let you know.....................Kingpin

Wilson Combat makes a replacement, but you have to send the slide to them, and it costs a buck fifty without the smith work.  Guaranteed not to shoot loose, though.

Mule, I cut in a BoMar rear sight so it's low and not a hinderance to your holster. The sight that I have is a Caspian adjustable, and it looks just like a BoMar. Once it's cut in, no one could tell the difference between them. I charge $65 for the instalation and 50 for the sight. You'd have only to send me the slide and I could do it if you wanted. Aside from the Eliason trijicon rear sight, I don't have any others except for the Caspians..........Kingpin

Got the price from Wilson.  $240 including shipping.  Caspian sounds foreign.  Ain't a nip sight, is it?

Not hardly Mule, I think they're from New York, but don't quote me. Wilson is in business to make a lot of money, I do it to get by. No Jap sights here.......................Kingpin
