I purchase a new Beretta FS 92 Inox a few months back, love the pistol. When I shoot it for the first time I shot reloads. I check to see if my load was Ok for the pistol because it was my starting load. The primer seem to flow back into the firing pen area. Looked like a pressure problem. I shot some factory ammo in the pistol and it showed the same. I took some pictures of the fired cases primer area and e-mailed them to RCBS and Lyman. They told me the same thing, looked like it may be a problem with the pistol. I called Beretta and asked to speak to someone that I could describe the problem to, to see if I really had a problem. I also ask to e-mail the pictures to someone. I was told NO I had to send the gun in. I told the person that I may not have a problem and if I could talk to someone, I may be able to avoid the expense of shipping the gun in. NO was what I got. I shipped the pistol in with the spent cases. I explained the problem. I got the pistol back after a month and a half, 55.00 bucks later with a note saying the pistol was manufactured this way, and it checked out fine. They send 15 empty cases they fired to check the pistol out. The primers all show the same as the ones I fired. I think Beretta could have saved me the shipping if they would have let me get pass that women. Very upset with Beretta. Remington, Ruger, and Winchester have never treated me this way. I will not buy Beretta anymore!

" Beretta, service stinks" When purchasing a double action 9MM pistol, I would never even consider a beretta. There are other, more robust, accurate, and durable pistols than a beretta. My experience with beretta pistols first hand, 20 years ago, soured me. I will not own one. Their service department has the screen that you mentioned too. I know her personally and she has the disposition of a bent shit can. Get yourself a S.I.G, and ALL your problems will be solved.................Kingpin |
