Not Charco, but an old Charter Arms. Left a client this morning, and went by a pawnshop. Decided to stop in, and they had Charter Arms Target Bulldog (4 inch, adjustable sights) for $79. It went home with me!

Guns is kinda ugly, aluminum barrel shroud is shiney in spots where the anodizing has worn, cylinder is ringed with bolt marks. Timing is good,  no endshake, and locks tight. Barrel /cylinder gap looks to be about .003...pretty tight.

Pictures to follow later. I'll probably strip it down and shot it with some oven cure epoxy.

For the price, I don't think I could go wrong.

I've got a charter ARms snubbie.  Boought it new for $69 about 1970.  never had a problem. Cylinder could be tighter but for CC it is very good.  Never shot any 2 legged critters with it; but finished off some road kills with it.

The Bull-dog model got lots of bad press.  Do you remember the "bulldog" murderer????  used the 44 spl Charter Arms.

There are some Charters that are pretty infamous. Yeah, David Berkowitz, AKA Son of Sam, the .44 caliber killer. mark Chapman murdered John Lennon with a Charter Undercover model.

Just gotta say that NO gun that was misused is infamous, only the lawbreaking scum that misused it!
