I just did a search on this forum for a few words and number of time they were used:
S*** used 1328 times &am p;nb sp; last date 6/08 F*** used 94 times last date 12/07 F***ing bsp;& amp; nbsp; 33 times last date 10/07 G**D*** used 71 times & amp; nbsp; last date 3/08 G** D*** used 23 times & amp; nbsp; last date 6/08
I didn't check to see how many of these were in Roll Call or in the Jokes categories. I don't think a filter is needed, just a little more caution when posting as your wife or childred could be reading.
I don't sure how "& nbsp" kept popping up as I deleted it twice and it's still there.

I think all this talk about cleaning up the site has run Kingpin off. You better email him and apologize so he doesn't think he's not wanted. Personally, if not for his trashy language, I probably wouldn't like him. It's his one redeeming trait, that, and he seems to know what he's talking about with regard to 1911s. Salty old dogs need a place in this world too. Seems like the world is getting to be one big church social anymore. Churches are fine, it's just the people who attend them that I find objectionable. Been gone a while but I find it a moot point for the most part. We have a great site and parents should be the ones responsible for policing their kids rather than relying on administrators whether they be on websites, schools or sports. |

Hey guys haven't been around for a while but never once was i offened by the lanuage here. My Grandkids here the same words out in the real world. hell even the cartoons are more violent than the words said here. I say if they don't like what they read then don't read it. It's the parents place to teach the kids what they hear don't mean they say it. We heard every word invented growing but never said them as children or our butts and mouths would acked for a week. It's up to every one but my self I want to fell free to vent some place and if that means we have to edit our words then what is the point. some times heated argument happen but never have i seen anyone person stop comming in here because of it. every one should have the right to express there opinions and thats why they come here. Well thats my opinion for what is's worth

thanks BK's mom. That seems to be the same opinion that most of us have. might be nice to think our kids (and grandkids) were not exposed to rough language, but that just isn't the reality of today. My experience is the average 10 year old knows and uses rougher language than is seen on here. Maybe not desired, but that is our society. Nice to see you checking in. BEAR |
