Tikkabuck, I guess your going to have to wipe the tears away and head out the door in search of another pup to train. Yep, sounds like you need to be puppy searching.

Now if you want to change breeds, I got just the remedy to cure your ills. A very versatile breed that you can take to the duck blind or hunt mountain chukar if you have the mind too. Shucks I have even had them point turkey for me in the field. Now hunting quail or pheasant is a natural for this breed of dog called the German Shorthair Pointer. I got some goodins too!
