It's going to be a tuff tournament at Fresno this weekend. The lake is over the spillway full. It's easy to launch a boat that's for sure. The water is the color a moca coffee, and at 60*. This is our second trip in 10 days and not a fish to be had. I don't know what the problem is , the spawn is over and normally at 55* the walleye start to turn on.We fished from one end of the lake to the other and side to side. Trolled hardware and worm harnesses, jigged every walleye color we had, and tried all our pike stuff even the top water stuff.Used worms, leaches and minnows too. 12 hours of fishing and not a single bite. The big jinx we had was a strong EAST wind all day,a lot of times that is the kiss of death up here. The walleye guys will have to be better fisherman then I am...

Sometimes I try too hard to think like a fish!  Why is the fish there?  what is his predisposition to feed?  Can I make him strike out of madness?  etc  Sort of like the Saturday TV programs and lots of books.

Maybe the truth is sometimes they bite sometimes they don't!

Confused

Like me I start to watch my fish finder and not look at the lake or shore. If I turn off the stuff most of the time I'll catch a fish.

We even tried that on out last trip.
