Dragged this one out today with some other guns. Group offhand at 10 yards, single action. Good to remember how far defensive firearms have come in a hundred years! Note the .17 caliber holes above the .32 caliber holes. Too cheap to change the target, and too lazy to apply pasters...

Use .32-20 brass. Winchester works fine in my revolver, your friend's might need the rims reduced in diameter. I have heard that Starline works pretty much in all guns. Size and prime, charge with 3.0 Unique, and seat about any lead bullet of .311 to .312 indiameter. SWC or WC are fine. Seat the bullet into the case with the case mouth expanding die from a .32 S&W or .32 H&R set. If needed, run the case back thru the .32-20 sizer. Then you are ready to go.

Lee makes a die set that uses .32-20 brass, but it isn't needed if you have a .32-20 and .32 S&W set. Fiochi loads the 7.62 Nagant if that is more trouble than you want, but retail is about $30 per 50.
