Final, Dirt, Nap.
2.5 hour drive,30 mph sustained wind 40 mph gusts.
2/3 mile walk in the dark to a point I picked on my map. Ten minutes in to shooting light and the Big 8 flairs. the coulee rumbles like thunder. 380 yards lay a mule deer doe dead as snot on the edge of a hole from hell. It looked like a bolt of lighting struck her and stapled her to the hill side. My special mule deer doe tag was filled.

The pics do not do the area justice, BIG BRAKES!

Another good shot.

It sounds like an all around hunting rifle. It will kill anything from antelope to bear.
