I tried,by accident, my hammer drill with my roll crimper. WORKS Great !!!
I did some coyote loads and the turned out wonderful. 3 1/2" 12 gauge Fio hull,3" Multi Metal wad,40gr Blue dot powder, #F lead shot,2 oz 55 pellets, clear over shot card, roll crimp 3" 12 gauge Rio hull,2 3/4' Mu;ti metal wad,32 gr blue dot,1 5/8 oz #F lead shot,45 pellets, card board over shot card, roll crimp 2 3/4 12 gauge Fio hull,2 3/4 Multi metal wad cut 1/4" off ,35 gr blue dot,1 3/8 oz #F lead shot ,37 pellets, card board over shot card , roll crimp. I had a hull I messed up and had to cut back open so I cut it down to 1 3/4" put in 12 gr clays a gas seal Mylar rap and 5/8 oz of 7 1/2 shot. Put a roll crimp which took it down to 1 1/2" HUMM It's a quit little guy don't have a clue what he would work for... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

A bit more consistent pattern and you can squeeze in a smidgen more pay load or powder.

If you cut them down to the next shorter size. ie: 3 1/2" to a 3"- 3" to a 2 3/4" So a 3 1/2 can be used three times is all. |

Why can't you reroll them without cutting them down? I'd think you could get 2 or 3 more loadings with them. RD

Honestly I have never tried. Shoot'm and shove,m. I have to cut the new hull down 3/8" so you cant use it for a star crimp in that length anyway,SO 3 1/2" become 3",3" become 2 3/4" and 2 3/4" become my New 1 1/2" gopher protection. I think I'll call them 12 Gauge shorts DI,"D" improved
