    For fathers day went up the Maris river at the confluence with the Missouri river. The water was high and 
of course Muddy and the fishing was slow. But we always have a great time.Often times we use the boat for access rather than fishing from.We got a lot of drum and Chanel cats even some shovel-nose sturgeon. I didn't get any pictures of the sturgeon but one was 35 " the others were smaller.One of the cats was 30" and as normal I didn't get anything. The two kids,daughter-in-yaw and oldest Granddaughter did all the catching. The wise tried out her new covered chair and got a lot of reading in.
