blue/white 1973 chevrolet 2-wheel drive with a 350 LT-1 (lord knows why, also a hi-rise aluminum manifold, 4bbl holley double-pump and racing cam) engine.

don't be too impressed, it barely gets me to work and back, but she always starts!!

1977 f-150 4x4.

the motor is freshly rebuilt and dyno's out at a hair over 550 horses. the tires are 35x12.50-15's. just put a posi in it, and had some trouble w/ the msd ignition, so for now it is running a factory ignition.

the color? a 50/50 mix of dull faded black and rust...

the am radio works just fine, thanks. so does the heater. on a cold day, though, the defroster can't keep up, and we gotta pull over now and then so that we can see (scary story attached to this part - for another day).

don't put anything small on the floor that you'd like to keep (ammo, binoculars, handguns, children, etc), it will fall out the rusted floor board...

tranny is fresh, so is the 4-wheel drive...i'll take this truck anywhere. been stuck only twice, which really is saying something, and it will fit 4 deer while doing it. i prefer this truck to my much newer f-250...

Hunting is not a matter of life or death; it is much more important than that.

Hey guys, this was our hunting vehicle until my brother somehow managed to wreck the tranny. The tranny needed rebuilding anyways because the 5 gear didnt work. O wait, cant show the picture because it looks like shit. I dont know why my camera takes such bad pictures.

Well anyways, we have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler, black, 5 spd, currently a zero speed because of the tranny. The thing is a workhorse and do anything my grandfather's Jeep Grand Cherokee can do and more. I learned how to drive a standard transmission on that thing. Only problem is I havent driven a standard since then so i am horrible.

I fixed this one for ya'.  PM me with what operating system you are running on your computer (windows 98, 2000, etc.) and maybe I can help you.

Tik,

This works for me:

- Save a copy of pic in case you over do it or screw up

- Display the .jpg pic, using RH mouse button click on pic. List of options appear.

- Choose "paint"

- At top of screen while viewing the paint pic, choose stretch/skew, a small window appears

- For stretch insert something like 50% for horizontal. Do the same % for vertical. You may have to fool with different %'s til it looks good, but use the same % for horiz and vert. I won't get into it, but I go for a horizontal pixel count about 450 - 650.

- Save this .jpg file with new name and use it as you already did.

- you may have to still go back and make adjustments.

I'm running Win XP. Somebody else may have a better method.

Hmmm . . . TIKKABUCK, that looks like a city-slicker fer sure . . . what with those fancy white-letter tires and all.

I can't compete with all this macho stuff.  I have a 1999 Ford Ranger in Ford dark green, 2WD, stick shift, and an A.R.E. topper on the back for my stuff and a dog.  Good enough - don't need 4-wheel drive - I don't think - just good studded tires when the going gets rough in the winter.  Set of chains behind the seat if I go to the mountains.  The 2500 cc engine they put in the Ranger in 1999 never misses a lick in the mountains.  Set of Good Year Ultra Grips [made in Canada] keeps me going - although they are noisy as sin.  Carpet in the back is padded and cushy.  Dog loves it.  Keep survival supplies in back.  Just in case - a Colorado necessity.  Fog lamps in front to see wookies!  Want to put one of those basket racks on top of the topper, but, geez, are they expensive!     Guess I will forego that.  Oh yeah . . . got one of those plastic whickerdoos on the front just like North Logans.  I don't think it does anything, but it looks different!

Gene - the only problem here is that it distorts your picture.  Try shrinking the pic with this method and then try to make it large again.  I took a pic and shrunk both the horizontal and vertical by 50%, then tried increasing them both by 200% to bring it back to its orginal size; it ended up not quite the same number of pixels and a significant difference in size on the disk (reduced a 87k pic by about 16k in this particular instance).  It makes the text in the jpg I tried to stretch/skew unreadable.  It may not be too noticeable of a difference in practical applications, but then again...

Really, for some of you with digital cameras, you probably got some kind of photo editing software free with your camera where you can decrease the number of pixels proportionately.  For example, in photoshop, it would look something like this:

You can see that to the right, the dimensions are locked together so that reducing one (height or width) reduces the other proportionately.

Hey There
Windows 98+,my son says I need to get up to date.
When I send e-mails to folks it does the same thing unless they use yahoo.

Hey Pocket ya can't see the white letters when it's buried in good old southern swamp mud up to the frame, thats when the 4.10 gears and that tread earn their money.

mr mom - Here's another shot of it. Maybe if you're sneaky you can call it yours. Feel pretty good today - no CALL from Cabela's to say the boat is not ready yet. Wife and I will be down there before noon. Dread towing it home thru Detroit, will use other freeway routes.
