Digger just called from Afganistan

Hey fellas Dig just called me. They lost two trucks on convoy yesterday, and it took them 9 hours to go 175 miles. He did not say how many troops if any where lost in the trucks. I didn't ask. He seems to be in good spirits, but you could hear in his voice that he is real tired! Told him you all are praying for him, and he said thanks alot!

It's ALWAYS GREAT to get the call from your soldier. I got a similar call in '05 only he lost 3 soldiers that time in his convoy....I could hear that in his voice......Tell Digger I/We wish him the best of luck and to watch his 6......I will keep him in our prayers here for the duration........GOD must be a multi-tasker cuz We sure keep him busy!

Digger called again today. Having fun and real busy. Said the other night they got intell that several suicide bombers where on thier way to Bagdad. His group was back in Bagdad for a few days. They got put outside the wire on gun trucks. The order was if they saw anything come off the road and head toword the base. Shoot to kill no warns no second chances.

He said sure enough here they came. Right as he took his 50 off safe. All this glowing shit came out of the sky from behind them, and cars where blowing up all over the place. He said he didn't even no the Apachies where up and ready. Kinda bummed he never fired a shot but said the show was awsome with nightvission on

Anyway he said to thank you all again for the prayers!

Boo is still in Bagdad, and he gets to see her when he is back at base from Afganistane. He said she is doing well and real busy with work too. Still kills me to know she is a plummer. Prettiest little plummer you ever did see. If you don't believe me ask CB900F I'm sure she has been in his shop with me once. Digger is a lucky guy! Shes cute and she can fix the plumming around the house. Man it don't get better than that

	Just talked to his boss that is back stateside due to shoulder surgery. The trucks they lost where not due to fighting. One caught fire and the other blew a motor. So thats good news. MM
