Is anyone handloading slugs in 20ga?
I have begun to experiment with a .575 Minie' bullet that weighs 430gr, equal to 1 oz of shot.
A 1967 Lyman reloading manual lists a 375 gr Lyman slug in 20 ga, up to 1600fps with 4227.
This is about the .45-70 405 at 1320 factory load and a larger , heavier bullet than the cowboy 300 at 1300fps.
Is anyone here trying anything close to this, if so what results have you had so far?
