Ok guys we need a pangolin hunt.  Might need to be quiet about this as they are heavily protected worldwide.  But they have brought us this virus, thanks to Asian liking to use the scales for medicine!  and their meat for dinner.

Thinking a 10-22 might be weapon of choice.

problems on import.  hunt in their natural surroundings.  tough penetration, they roll into a ball with scales on outside.  40 grains, no hollow points, penetration.

Must have be a while back.
I have not seen a problem with them.
But of course I only clean my hunting stuff once a season, meaning year.
They do penetrate will.

In my mind they kinda do what heave for caliber bullets do with out the increase in weight.
There way Longer the the same cup and core bullet the same weight.
My 45/70 I use Hornady 300 gr HP it is about a half an inch long.
I have a 300 gr load for the 45/70 in a Barnes it is about an inch long.
Both shoot at very near 2400 fps.
It it was not $1 a bullet I would shoot the barnes, both shoot very close to the same POI.

In my 6mm I shoot an 80 gr Barnes that is the same length as the 100 gr Speer and shoots WAY faster and makes little bug holes.

In my 8mmRM I shoot a 200 gr Barnes at 3200 fps . the bullet is longer then the 220 gr Serra and 200 fps faster.
Both shoot very good groups but at 500 yards for what ever reason shoots 15 to 20 inches higher than the 220's a speed/ coefficient thing I'm guessing.
