A little while ago i was looking for a canvas tent and on impulse i bought the first one i saw for $50.00. A few days later a guy sold me a proper one much bigger for $80.00 so i dipped into the rent money cause i just had to have it. So now the girlfriends pissed at me cause i should of waited it out instead of wasting money buying the first one i saw and forced me to have a yard sale to sell my other tents to make up for my stupidity. While standing at my table of goods i received a call about my ad from a guy who has one of them army tents you all told me to invest in and he wants to give it away to me for free. So once again i should of waited she said. The same thing happened when i bought my 303 british for $150.00. It had to have a custom fitting in order to take a scope from a side mount which cost me $80.00. A week later after getting my mounts in the mail, a guy sold me a 303 british with a mount already on it for a $100.00. Is it just my luck or is it one of Murphys laws.

If you can sue McDonalds for getting you fat then why can't you sue the alcohol companies for all the ugly people you ended up sleeping with?

"my other tents "

Are you a collector?????LOL

Gary, you are really off the track.  We need to get you back on the proper road QUICK.

Rule 1:

Never never tell you wife or your girl friend  (or both) when you buy something  OR   what you paid for it.

Rule 2:

Never violate Rule 1....NEVER.

My god, that talk really scares me..Cry.....a grown man telling his girl friend what hunting/camping/equipment cost...WOW.

Expect to hear "Those new drapes wouldn't cost as much as you spent on that stupid tent!",  etc, etc, etc.Angry     You will regret telling her.Ouch

GET A NEW  GIRLFRIEND!

In case you haven't figured it out yet!

If you marry her - things will only get worse! Then what's hers is hers and what's yours is hers also. You will be lucky to get to go fishing with the boys, let alone buy bullets and go hunting. If she is this way now - I pity you.

Gary,

We guys don't write down these rules.  They have been passed down by word of mouth for hundreds of centuries.  You don't trust things so important to the written form.

God didn't tell Moses the ten commandments.  Moses wrote those just to disguise what he really heard:

Rule 1:   Never never tell you wife or your girl friend  (or both) when you buy something  OR   what you paid for it.

Rule 2:   Never violate Rule 1....NEVER.

Rule 3:    Don't tell them what you make....they will spend that plus 10 percent.

Rule 4:  Don't let them drive cars.

Rule 5:  Don't let them vote.

Rule 6:  Always appear to listen but never suggest a solution to any problem that they talk to you about; they will only get mad at you and say you are "insensitive and don't understand".

Maybe others will give you rule 7-25.  But you really have some catching up to do on 1 and 2.

Gary. Loose that girlfriend. Never, and I mean NEVER, let one move in with you, or leave any "things" at your place. This means never handing out the house key also. Remember, you are the king of your domain. No girlfriend has any bussiness telling you what you should buy or sell. First time that happens, she's gone. When you need a woman, go find one. Plenty of them out there. NH, are you paying attention to all this?

Gary,

I never saw that thing about not moving in in the RULES.  I gave out lots of keys.  I liked the Kwik-Set locks as I could put those "things left at my apartment" in a cardboard box and change the locks in about 1 hour....SURPRISE".

Living in your  (or her apartment) has lots of advantages, living in your brain ain't good.

We don't have anything to worry about NH...he can't decide on a rifle nor a scope......he will never be able to decide on a woman.Wink
