There seems to be few around here. Based soley on your glowing reviews I bought a SII 6x24x42. Well not soley on the reviews, the price was right too and I'm a poor side walk shoveler.......  That about will wrap up my projects in progress and with the exception of a gift for a nephew, any projects for awhile as I need to build a motor for my car. I going to stick it on the .257 wby. I still need to send it off to get it coated and I'm going to re-do the stock but I think I'll mount it and shoot it for awhile before I take it back out of commision. Hopefully the scope is a good one, if not I know where you live Ron

hey now - if you don't like that sightron, you DANGF sure know where i live! i'll take t off your hands!

looks like you made a good purchase! keep in mind that sightron has a super warranty, so if you do have problems with it, they will most likely take care of the problem for you. based on my experience and what i have heard, they will take care of it quickly.

I may get the 1x20 black powder scope just because it seems it is easier to aim with xhairs but it would be without magnification. I had to do the shooting for Hunter Ejamacation with a Ruger m77 in .22LR with a 1 power scope on top. ONly problem was that over 200 rounds had been put through the rifle in a very short amount of time so the barrel was starting to turn red so i couldnt get a very good group.

BTW: on sightron scopes, what does it mean when it has WA at the end of the power and objective size? I was looking at a 3-9x40WA but i have no clue what the wa means.

Wide angle I'm thinking. A larger field of view.
