I recently tested out the New Genco .17 cal Bullets, the heaviest being 32.1grs which is a rebated boatail 7 ogive, Groups were under half inch at around 3930fps in my 10" twist shilen. The 26gr rebated boatail VLD was very impressive, with aggs in the mid two's, also the VLD 29gr flatbase was very accurate as well, In my short .17ppc, R-15 is my powder of choice and produced 4130fps with the 26gr and 4040 with the 29gr. Genco also produces lead tipped .17's however i did not achieve the level of accuracy as compared to the Match VLD type projectiles. All in All, A big thumbs up for the new Genco .17 cal bullet line.
