Well, my NIB 44 mag Marlin is now ready.   2x command scope mounted and sighted in.  QD sling swivels attached, with a claw sling.  Front sight now day glow orange.  100 rounds loaded.

Sadly, it will sit a year, as my throat isn't going to let me hunt the last week of the deer season.  But something to look forward to.  Better time next year,

That is going to be a fun gun to hunt with.

I have been keeping an eye out for a lever action in .357mag.

I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.

The 44 mag cost me $87.At the time they had a 357 same close out price. Took me an hour in the store to decide.  Next day, it occurred to me :\"you A$$, you should have bought both".  ugh

I remember that error everytime I see a 357, great walk about rifle.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that does stuff like that.
