This one is for CB900F. Never paid much attention to the LDAs, but since you were asking, I took the opportunity to check one out at a friend's gunshop.

The LDA 7 is, I think, an officer sized gun, with the 3 1/2 inch barrel. They are available only with a steel frame. Typical Para quality, pretty good.

The LDA is the is the big feature. Seems to be a pre-loaded, small mass hammer, similar to Kel-Tec's P11, but DA/SA, intead of DA only. DA triggerpull wasn't bad, then transitioned to SA. The trigger is reset when the slide recoils, so you don't have restrike capability, if that is important to you.

Personally, I think the LDA is for people or agencies that don't feel comfortable with carrying a 1911 style pistol cocked and locked. Kind of a hardware solution to a software problem.
