Hi,

My name is Jerry Smith, I live in eastern Ohio close to the Ohio River. I have a small farm and a comfortable home.

I spent most of my adult life as a civil engineer, I retired from Ohio State. Before becoming an engineer, I was in the army.

My time is taken up with casting bullets, reloading ammo, hunting and fishing. Of course I also farm my land.

Things that I have done to get to where I am, I have worked as a jeweler, Knifemaker, machinist and many other things.

You can find me over on the Handloaders Bench forum, but also other forums. I enjoy shooting my T/C Contenders, mt Marlin lever guns, M1As and many other firearms that I have.

I am always ready to teacher as well as learn.

My stance on the gun control is one that is stead fast, I have a right to own and use firearms, if need be, I am a militia of one. I have been a life long member of the NRA and for Christmas, I upgraded my membership to Benefactor Life. We are all in this current mess together, and it is getting to be a simple situation, you are either for guns rights or not.

If anyone wants to stop by my place and shoot on my 100 yard range give me about a days notice.

Take care and thanks for having me,

Jerry

Hi Jerry,

Welcome to BSB.  Hope to see you post and add to what ever it is we have.

I live close to you, W PA.  About 8 miles from the Ohio River.

We have a lot in common, life NRA member, former engineer (EE), reloader.

I hunt, fish and trap...been reloading for close to 50 years now.

My favorite T?C is a contender with a 375 barrel, got a number of boar and whitetails with that gun.
