greetings from a fellow southy!

just wondered if anyone else was like me. i shoot right handed guns and can't even get used to shooting a left handed one. i shoot it like a lefty. i've had a couple of rifle stocks custom made with a left handed stock fitted to the right handed action. this is really expensive.

another issue for me is bows. i shoot left handed for the most part, but can shoot right handed also and am not too bad, just not as comfortable. the thing that really sucks is you can't find any pro shops with left handed bows to try before making the $1ooo dollar decision to buy one.

just a general sound-off

Jeff;

With the bow, you can only do what I'd done for decades with rifles.  You tell 'em: "It's my money & you don't get any till I get what I want".  Then you either cave or stand.

But notice that the left hand rifle situation is vastly improved over what it was post WWII to the 90's.

 My wife is a lefty and shoots a right handed rifle,I tried my hardest to get her a new left handed rifles,she just can't do it so I leave her and her favorite rifle alone for now. I made the mistake of selling her most favorite rifle a Ruger M77 in 25-06 awhile back,it was a custom built righty. I still hear about it.

mike -

when i was a young boy (maybe 4 or 5) my dad did the same with my mother's canary-yellow 1969 camaro.

it seems the romance died that day....
