It's finally here. How's your hunting going so far?
Our elk season opens November 5th. Me, My daughter, and my granddaughter all have cow tags.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.

She filler 2 of her 4 tags.

By the way.
Her new 7x57 AI is like a lightning bolt.
The buck was right at 200 yards and fell where he fell.
The doe was 100 we think but in very thick dark Aspen and Hawthorn. She had to "thread the eye of the needle" It was looking at us and could only see 6 or 8 inches of the deer. Hit it in the front of the shoulder and it travelled almost the full length of the deer coming out just in front of the rear hip.
It did go through the lungs but not the heart.
It ran 50 yards but an hour to find her.
Dead id dead.Thumbs Up
